He was predeceased by: his parents, Auris Lee and Cleo Mae Hewlett (Payton); his siblings, Francis Hewlett and Carol; his brother-in-law Gary Jimmerson; and his son Doug Hewlett.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas and Jeffery; his wife Phyllis Hewlett of Grand River, Iowa; his son Ed Hewlett (Connie) of Independence; his daughter-in-law Danie Hewlett of Yuma; his son Jeff Hewlett (Marlena) of Murray, Iowa; his grandchildren, Anna Allen, Scott Hewlett, Curtis Hewlett, Amber Wyatt, Lynnae Hewlett, Sabrina Fonte, Lydon Walker, Kendra Miller and Kaden Hewlett; and his brother Gene Hewlett of Grand River. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and many friends.
