With solemn reverence, we commemorate Mary Jane Slaymaker of Grand Mound, Iowa, whose life came to an end on November 18, 2024 at the age of 75, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Duke and Lois Duke (Dosland) of Grand Mound; and her siblings, Linda Glover and Bill Duke. She is survived by: her husband Harry; her children, Sadie Jacobsen (Scott) of DeWitt and Marcus Slaymaker (Richelle) of Welton; her grandchildren, Nathan, Delaney Jacobsen, Layton and Liza Slaymaker; and her sister Delores Lahann of Wheatland. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Schultz Funeral Homes (722 8th St, DeWitt, IA 52742). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House in Bettendorf.
