She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Petersen and Goldie Petersen (Hudson); her spouse Dale Henry Peters; her son-in-law John Watters; and her sister-in-law Millicent Hunsaker.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jill Franzen (Randy) of Delmar and Jayne (Mark "Turtle" Zeimet) of Andrew; her grandchildren, Jarett Franzen (Shauna), Nathan Watters and Kyle Watters; her brother Kent Petersen (Jo) of Welton; and her siblings-in-law, Madelyn Olson (Steve), Nancy Blackwell (Lonnie), Nadine Sojka (Dick) and Donald Hunsaker. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
