He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Elmer Hasenmiller and Francis Hasenmiller (Dierickx); his mother-in-law Dorothy Phillips; his wife Dorothy; his children, Diane Roderick (Al) of Cedar Rapids, Steve Hasenmiller (Sue) of DeWitt, Dwaine Hasenmiller (Tee) of Phoenix, Lynne Maher (Dave) of Grand Mound and Lisa Butt (Phil) of Grand Mound; his daughter-in-law Carolyn Heathman (Bryce) of DeWitt; his grandchildren, Joel, Dan, Sara, Allison Hasenmiller, Kathy Brooks, Matt, Chris Roderick, Blake Hasenmiller, Leanna Bender, Alaina, Lauren, Maureen Hasenmiller, Brad Maher, Anne Adams, Alyssa Cram, Bryan Maher and Scott Butt; his stepgranddaughter Leah Haley; his son Jeff; and his brothers, Don and Merwyn. He was also cherished by 23 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to Sts Philip & James Catholic Church, the Grand Mound Community Center Improvement Fund, or the Grand Mound Fire Department.
