She is survived by: her husband Bill Girres of Graettinger; her son Shane Girres; her stepchildren, Brian Girres (Sandy), Lisa Chapman (Dave) and Shalene Naig (Jeff); and her siblings, Sally Hovatter (Walter), Bill Ellis (Kim) and Sondra Nehring (Dean). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
