Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Matthew Lee Hunefeld of Graettinger, Iowa, who passed away at the age of 61, on July 3, 2023. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Hunefeld and Marilyn Hunefeld (Hawkins); his brothers, Rick and Randy; his nephew Scott Hunefeld; and his stepfather Marv Knutson.

He is survived by: his son Zach; his siblings, Mark Hunefeld (Shayla) of Graettinger, Luke Hunefeld of Emmetsburg, LeAnn Dietrich (Doug Hoffman) of Graettinger and Elizabeth Hoffman (Derek) of Graettinger; his sister-in-law Bonnie Hunefeld of Urbandale; and his uncles, Ronnie Hawkins of Fort Dodge and Gary Hawkins (Liz) of Fort Dodge.
