She was predeceased by: her parents, Olaus Hereim and Agnette Hereim (Sevdy); her husband Ronald Nissen; and her siblings, Chester, Duane, Alma, Vivian, Evelyn and Eva.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Nissen (Sue), Rhonda Thiner (Eugene), Jerry Nissen, Crystal Nissen (Jeff Hecht), Ann Nieland (Mike), Rod Nissen and Shane Nissen (Amy).
