She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Peton and Anna Peton (Kelting); her siblings, Edith Rouse (Gary) and Arnold Peton (Ingrid); and her son-in-law Tom Joynt.
She is survived by: her children, Dan Hennick of Estherville and Pam Nissen of Spencer; her grandchildren, Ashley Hockett (Jon) and Landon Joynt (Kalei); and her great grandchildren, Clara Hockett, Parker Hockett and Canton Joynt. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Henry-Olson Funeral Chapel-Estherville (401 N 7th St, Estherville, IA 51334). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
