He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Eaton and Ida Eaton (Rouse); his wife Marcie; and his siblings, Virgil Eaton, Ella Peglow and Dorothy Lammers.
He is survived by: his former wife Marcella Jensen; his children, Cynthia Anderson (Randy) of Ankeny, Jane Jackson (Mark) of Polk City and Dean Eaton (Michelle) of Effingham, Illinois; his grandchildren, Cole Anderson, Megan Anderson, Brett Anderson, Katelyn Jackson, Clay Eaton (Megan), Amber Jaspering (Jordan), Gabe Eaton and Gracie Eaton; his great grandchildren, Charley, Stella, Bo Eaton and Jacoby Jaspering; his siblings-in-law, Roy Jensen (Berniece) of Dunnell and Sue Jensen of Graettinger, Iowa; and his friend Marie Carlson of Ankeny, Iowa.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Palo Alto County Hospice.
