He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Anderson (Andy) and Oda Anderson; his brother Steve Anderson; and his father-in-law Jim Lentsch. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn Anderson; his children, Christopher Anderson (Caitlin) of Littleton, CO, Amanda Sether (Lane) of Lake Park, IA and Nicholas Anderson of Derby, KS; his grandchildren, Addison Anderson, Clint Sether, Brooke Anderson and Hadley Anderson; his siblings, Pam Anderson of Apple Valley, MN, Barry Anderson of Bettendorf, IA, Terry Anderson of Muscatine, IA and Darin Anderson (Beth Ann) of Eldridge, IA; and his mother-in-law Hazel Lentsch of Fort Dodge.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Palmer & Sons Funeral Home (1016 Church St, Gowrie, IA 50543).
