We are sad to announce that on August 19, 2021, at the age of 90, Ruth Elaine Sandeen of Gowrie, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Sandeen; her daughter Kathy Downer; her grandson Nathan Downer; her great grandchild Elayna Sandeen; and her parents, Ted Swanson and Adina Swanson (Renquist).
She is survived by: her son Steve Sandeen (Jackie) of Kelley; her son-in-law Dean Downer of Massena; her grandchildren, Jake Sandeen (Lucy), Megan Sandeen, Ted Sandeen (Stephanie) and Allison Dorsey (Travis); and her brother Bob Swanson of Latimer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
