With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rita L. Peterson (Gowrie, Iowa), born in Galesburg, Illinois, who passed away on January 2, 2020 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Clifford T. Peterson; her parents, Otis Brown and Mary Brown (Brush); and her son-in-law Don Weipert. She is survived by: her children, Kelly Postel (Vic) of Berwick, Sue Peterson (Dean Summers) of Gowrie, Dixie Janssen (Jay) of Denison, Leigh Ann Weipert of Ft. Dodge and Scott Peterson; and her brother Gale Brown (Sherri) of LeClaire. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
