He was predeceased by: his daughter Marilyn K. Mundt; his parents, Ralph Mundt and Esther Mundt (Larson); and his brother Paul Mundt. He is survived by: his children, Carol Mundt of Stratford, Allan Mundt (Sharon) of Gowrie and Dave Mundt (Diane) of Callender; his grandchildren, Cassie Sredl (Tom), Melissa Mundt, Amy Kaufman (Josiah), Brian Mundt (Heather) and Travis Mundt; his great grandchildren, Aubrey Walter, Payton Walter, Allie Kaufman, Isaiah Kaufman, Elsie Kaufman, Elijah Kaufman, Oliver Mundt, Anna Cobb and Miles Cobb; and his wife Doris Drayer of Stratford. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
