He is survived by: his sons, Anthony Taylor (Alicia) of Fort Dodge and Robert Taylor (Jana) of Illinois; his grandchildren, Brittany Leach (Ryan) of Waukee, Cameron Taylor of Manson, Evie Taylor of Manson, Colin Underwood of Iowa City, Lauren Underwood of Coalville and Gabe Taylor of Illinois; and his sisters, Beth Blom (David) of South Carolina and Arlene Marshall of California.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be made to Almost Home Animal Shelter.
