He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Hammann and Amelia Hammann (Elliott); his wife Lorene Espe; his siblings, Conrad, Edward Hammann and Mary Jo; his siblings-in-law, Wilson Orr, Bruce Eyler, Norman, Mary Espe and June Espe; and his grandson-in-law Caleb Bergeron.
He is survived by: his daughters, Susan Dunne (Kevin) of Luling, Linda Gordon (Mike) of Goose Lake and Joann Hammann of Hudson, Florida; his grandchildren, Wayne Gordon (Jenny) of DeWitt, Willie Dunne (Sara) of Friendswood, Sarah Bergeron of Luling, Anna Swanson (Taylor) of Clinton, Marie Sherman (John) of Plymouth and Paul Gordon (Teddy) of Clinton; his great grandchildren, Addie, Audrina, Brenner, Kinzie, Aubrie, Callen, Beckett, John Wayne, Lucas, Arabella, Liam, Laikynn, Sophia, Evelyn, Briar, Colson, Grayson, Nicolas, Eloise, Titus and Abel; his sister Harriett Eyler of Martinsburg; and his sisters-in-law, Ann Hammann of Martinsburg and Mary Ann Hammann of Charlottesville, Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
