She was predeceased by: her parents, Doug Larsen and Carolynn Larsen (Taylor); and her aunt Carol Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Brian Torode of Goose Lake; her children, Crystal Torode of Colorado Springs, Thomas Torode (Sara) of Waukee and Daniel Torode of Denver, Colorado; her cousin Cindy Bergman; her nephew Brian; and her nieces, Tiffany and Victoria. She is also survived by two brothers and one sister.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a local Humane Society in her name or to the American Cancer Society.
