He was predeceased by: his parents, George Diedrich and Rose Diedrich (Rickerl); and his sister Gerry Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Marietta Sullivan; his children, Dan Diedrich (Cindy), Deb Rogis (Robyn) of Bryant, Dale Diedrich (Tammy) of Goose Lake, Dave Diedrich of Goose Lake and Duane Diedrich (Christine) of Charlotte; his grandchildren, Nicki, Cody, Adam, Season, Timon, Amy, Jared, Angela, Ace, Addison, Sydney, Chavez, Derek, Dylan, Demi, Danae and Damon; and his siblings, Donald (Macel), Dick Diedrich (Diane), Marilyn Stevenson, Evelyn Fuegen and Ellen Maxwell (Steve). He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren; four step-great grandchildren.
