He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson H. Lewis and Ivalie Stella Lewis (Wilhelm); his former wife Ione Vera Knight; and his siblings, Virgil Lewis, Naomi Fawcett, Glen Lewis, Iris Bisher and Marjorie Schauer.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Lewis of Clarion; his children, Ernie Lewis (Pam) of Goldfield, Duane Lewis of Clarion and Nancy Foster (Dan) of Madison, AL; his stepchildren, Larry Olson (Melody) and Diane Berg; his sister Bonnie Sheets of Goldfield; and his sister-in-law Mildred Knight of Florida. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
