He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Allan and Norma Jean Boyington (Lawrence); his former wife Pam Throntveit (Hanson); and his brothers, Rick "Bubba" and Bruce Boyington.
He is survived by: his former wife Belva Krozt; his wife Vicki Knutson (Read) of Goldfield; his son Shane Boyington (Jenny Prifogle) of Brownsburg, IN; his stepdaughters, Michelle Throntveit of Fort Dodge, Sherri Griffin (Ron) of Webster City and Treasa Throntveit of Eagle Grove; his grandchildren, Logan, Christie, Allison, Chelsey, JoRae, Tanner, Tyler, Austin, Deion, Daisah, Desira, JJ Mrla, Alicia Guerra and Miguel Pacheco; and his sisters, Lori Humphrey (Boyington) of Clarion and Jane Willard (Thompson) of Eagle Grove. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
