He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Lester and Beatrice Lester (Jones); his siblings, Derwin, Floyd, Norman, Arnold, Verla, Marilyn and Yvonne; and his siblings-in-law, Marvel Lester, Anne Nelson, Dian Nelson, Virgil Darland, Ronald McKnight, Earl Nelson, Ernie Gudenschwager and Gerry Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Ann Nelson; his daughters, Rhonda Smith (Curt) of Hayden and Susan Lester of Denver, Colorado; his granddaughters, Hayley Smith (Tony) of Bellingham and Jill Smith (Dusty) of Boise, Idaho; his sisters, Arlene Terhark (Curtis) of St. Ansgar and Patricia McKnight of Brandon; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Lester of Minnesota, Lavonne Lester of Arkansas, Shirley Gudenschwager of Orchard, Dianne Lawson of Osceola, Iowa and Bernard Nelson of Renwick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
