He is survived by: his daughters, Sonna Axon Johnson of Goldfield, Suzanne Axon Skadburg (Don) of Clive and Julie Axon Burzacott (Jon) of Tiffin; his son-in-law Dean Schipull; and his grandchildren, Chris Johnson of Goldfield, Erin Jennings (Ed) of Ankeny, Jessica Johnson of Goldfield, Erika Hoversten (Andy) of Andrews, TX, Corey Skadburg (Kiley) of Waukee, Stacy Snow (Jason) of Grimes, Cassie Schipull of Johnston and Joel Burzacott of Iowa City. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
