She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvyl Reichter (Harvey) and Verven Reichter; and her brother Marvin. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Roy Gillespie; her children, Larry Gillespie (Patricia) of Oakland, California and Marla Macyszyn (Mark) of Fayetteville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Pearce Gillespie, Kelli Macyszyn and Garrett Macyszyn; and her siblings, Beryl and Arlo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
