He is survived by: his former wife Gloria Diane Lyons; his wife Diane Halbur of Glidden; his sons, Nathan Slater (Jennifer) of Newport Beach, CA and Evan Slater (Lisa) of Denver, CO; his stepchildren, Kimberly Wiles of Coon Rapids, IA and Jonathan Halbur of Coon Rapids, IA; and his siblings, David Slater (Sue Ann) of Omaha, NE, Joseph Slater (Susan Cooper) of Bakersfield, CA, Steven Slater (Shari) of Papillion, NE and Peggy Buman (Tom) of Carroll, IA. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
