He is survived by: his children, Mike Genter (Linda), Henrik Nielsen, Rick Tegeler and Dawn Genter; his wife Janet; his daughters, Bobbi Nielsen (Henrik), Tammi Moller (Mike) and Valerie Tegeler (Rick); his grandchildren, Ethan Genter, Evan Genter, Garrett Genter, Lily Genter, Cole Genter, AJ Busch, Devan Allison, Brittany Steffes, Tyler Lane, Grace Ekness, Antonia Tegeler, Anamarie Tegeler, Robert Genter, Michael Ashby and Shannon Hill; his stepsons, Scott Hill (Roxanne) and Trent Hill; his great grandchildren, Emerson Genter, Adelynn Genter, Elsa Steffes, Nora Schubert, Joseph Lane, Remy Lane, Elowen Lane, Isaiah Steffes, Uma Ekness and Judah Genter; and his sister Patricia Steigerwalt (Joy Stuhr).
