He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil McCord and Marie McCord (Schramm); his wife Deanna Headlee; and his brother Blair McCord. He is survived by: his children, Marty McCord of Carroll, Gage and Kari Gurney of LaPlata, MD; his grandchildren, Peyton and Mitchell; his son Mike Headlee (Jean) of Carroll, IA; his grandsons, Tyler (Holly) and Tanner; his son Mark Headlee (Tonya) of Grimes, IA; his grandchildren, Kaleb and Alexa; his daughter Ronda Nicholson (Dave Nieland) of Indianola, IA; his grandchildren, Kaytee and Sara; his great grandchildren, Parker, Jake and Mitch Nicholson; and his siblings, Janet Stegmann of Omaha, NE, Nancy Fletcher (Ted) of Florida, Faye Murray of Arizona and Kenneth McCord (Judy) of Coon Rapids, IA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
