She was predeceased by: her father Charles Wiskus; her daughter Danika James; her brothers, Christopher Wiskus and Craig Wiskus; her mother-in-law Benna James; and her nephew Matthew Sunberg.
She is survived by: her mother Cleo Wiskus (Dirkx) of Exira; her husband David James of Glidden; her son Christopher James of Ames; her siblings, Crista Wiskus of Atlantic, Cindy Cleaver (Mike) of Waukee and Carrie Tate (Jeremy) of Beatrice, Nebraska; her siblings-in-law, Leanne Wiskus of Exira, Cathy James of Omaha, Robbie James of Omaha and Allen James of Council Bluffs; and her father-in-law Robert James of Fontanelle. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Carla James Memorial Fund to be used towards later memorial designations.
