She is survived by: her spouse Dale Berns; her children, Terry of Glidden and Kathy Berns of Clear Lake; her grandchildren, David Schwering (Nikki), Kendra Landherr (Randy), Nikki Berns, Jessica Heidemann (Matt), Emily Berns, Cody Berns, Dallas Berns, Megan Frerk and Mallory Frerk; her great grandchildren, Kailey, Carson, Kenzie, Caden, Jack, Lakeisha, Lavon, Laleila, Lane and Lyla; her brother Ed Remsburg (Marty); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Diekmann (Raymond) of Parker, CO and Marvin Berns (Shirley) of Urbandale. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
