With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Duane Coons of Glenwood, Iowa, born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on January 8, 2024 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Duane and Betty Mae Coons (Carlson). He is survived by: his wife Shirley Coons of Glenwood, Iowa; his granddaughter Wendy Perez; and his children, Sophia Perez and Jaxsen Carmona. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
