He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Cecil and Evelyn Marie Hunt (Williams); and his wife Patricia Ann Burgoin. He is survived by: his daughter Pamela (Dale Sargent) of Glenwood, Iowa; and his nieces and nephews, Rod (Lori Hunt) of Malvern, Iowa, Rex (Gloria Burgoin) of Silver City, Iowa, Sheila Hunt of Denver, Colorado and Peg (Dick Rupe) of Pacific Junction, Iowa. He is also survived by relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Silver City Fire & Rescue or Silver City United Methodist Church.
