He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Martha Arlene Campbell Lutes; his siblings, Alberta Barnes and Edwin Perkins; his wife Marjorie Perkins of Glenwood, Iowa; and his children, Susan Lincoln of Omaha, Nebraska, James Scott Perkins of Glenwood, Iowa and Vicky Van Fosson (Greg) of Lehigh, Iowa. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.

Memorial donations may be directed to the family.
