He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lea Kruse (Troutman); his children, Lohn and Ronelle Ray Johansen; his sister Beverly Bolton; his brothers-in-law, Ron Veasey and Dickie Severn; his son Eric Johansen (Roni); his grandchildren, Creightion, Rossalyne, Audrina, Berlinn, Daxtyn and Sterling of Glenwood, Iowa; his son Aaron Johansen (Kara); his grandchildren, Shyanne, Jaren, Braydon and Emma of Council Bluffs, Iowa; his siblings, Gary Johansen, Earlene Veasey, Shirley Wilson (Bob), Glenda Severn and Norma Manning; and his brother-in-law Pete Bolton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Glenwood Volunteer Fire Association or Bartlett Community Church, rural Thurman, Iowa.
