He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry and Alma Adeline Roker (Alpers). He is survived by: his children, William Roker (Pam) of Nebraska City, Nebraska, Robert Roker (Lisa) of Hot Springs, Arkansas, Marlene Turner (Larry) of Pacific Junction, Iowa, Dennis Roker (Teena) of Glenwood, Iowa, Shari Brown (Bob) of Glenwood, Iowa and Kelly Roker of Glenwood, Iowa; and his sister Joan Hodge of Ennis, Texas. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Peterson Mortuary (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (512 2nd St, Glenwood, IA 51534). The military honors was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Clatonia Cemetery.
