He is survived by: his son Larry; his grandson Tanner; his brothers, Deryl and Lyle; his son Dan (Sherri Filkins) of Cleburne, Texas; his grandchildren, Kyle Filkins of Fairbanks, Alaska, Brandon Filkins of Arlington, Texas, Dylan Filkins of Cleburne, Texas and Hunter Filkins of Cleburne, Texas; and his siblings, Wendell Filkins of Glenwood, Iowa, Donna Garrett of Ogden, Iowa, Pat Garges of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Don Filkins, Richard Filkins and Kenneth Filkins. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
