He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oliver James and Leona Joy Hammers (Anthony); his spouse Ellyn Belle Dusenberry; his significant other Betty; his children, Patricia Ann Hammers, Steven Hammers (Thea) of Greely, Colorado and Krystine Hammers of Chandler, Arizona; his sister Carol Eichelberger of Glenwood, Iowa; and his nieces, Kay LeFever (Linus) of Glenwood, Iowa and Elaine Olsen (Larry) of Colorado. He was also cherished by 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
