James Osler Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Osler of Glenwood, Iowa, born in Macedonia, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Milton and Lucille Garrett Osler (Miller); his wife Evelyn; and his sister Janice. He is survived by: his children, Jimmy Osler of San Francisco, CA, Neal Osler (Roxanne) of Wentzville, MO, Mark Osler, Laurie of Glenwood, Joanna Osler of Glenwood and Michele Chambers (Jim) of Thurman, IA; his siblings, Jerry Osler (Shirley) of Venice, FL and Jeannie Curren of Grundy Center, IA; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Bowen of Hastings, IA and Janice Duysen of LaPorte City, IA. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the Silver City American Legion or the Glenwood Public Library.
