He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Beckman and Esther Beckman (Barnes); his wife Jeanette Tolzin; his son Steve Beckman; his grandson Caleb Beckman; and his siblings, Carol Neal and Lyle Beckman.

He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Ford and Kristi Norgaard (Bill); his daughter-in-law Paula Beckman; his grandchildren, Allie Paulson (Nick), Cassie Ford, Nick Norgaard (Katie), Shayla Norgaard and Joshua Beckman; his great grandchildren, Liam and Ella Paulson; and his brothers, Gary Beckman (Alvina) and Jim Beckman (Irene). He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
