He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jack Ward and Margaret Anna Batten (Cox); his siblings, Robert Batten and Connie Batten; his daughters, Amy Jo Runyon (Rogelio Hernandez-Perez) of Red Oak, Iowa, Lisa Jo Sigler of Westfield, Indiana, Kelli Jo Schumacher (Shane) of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Jordanne Jo Batten of Omaha, Nebraska; and his siblings, Jackie Batten of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Donnie Batten of Glenwood, Iowa, Kathy Batten of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Jon Batten of Red Oak, Iowa. He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, extended relatives and friends.
