She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Pauline Sell (Roenfeld) and Duane Nelson Sell. She is survived by: her husband Joe Edward Taylor; her siblings, Mike (Mary Ann), Teresa (Mark) and Steve (Judy); and her nieces and nephews, Johna Wolfe, Ryan Sell, Holly Miller, Travis Sell, Jason Buckingham, Amy Siedlik, Andrew Buckingham, Clay Lincoln, Shari Bakker and Samantha Winter. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews, extended relatives, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Peterson Mortuary (212 S Locust St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Lutheran Church (605 Main St, Mineola, IA 51554).
