She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Kenneth "Bud" and Bessie Jewell (Scott); her husband Delbert Lee McVay; her granddaughter AnneMarie McVay; her sisters, Patsy Jewell, Marilyn Ricker and Diana Jewell; her children, Mark McVay (Nancy) of Glenwood, Iowa, Mike McVay (Diana) of Sioux City, Iowa, Matt McVay (Tracy) of Ladson and Mara Hunt (Antawn) of Glenwood, Iowa; her sister Beverly Jewell of Glenwood, Iowa; and her sister-in-law Bev Duysen (Carroll) of Emerson, Iowa. She was also cherished by 12 grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren.
