She was predeceased by : her parents, Arnold Sylvester and Rose Rita Kurt (Duggan); and her husband Ames. She is survived by : her children, Sarah Escritt (Bob) of Emerson, IA and Pat Everson (Manda) of Omaha, NE; her granddaughters, Grace and Savannah; and her siblings, Tom Kurt of San Diego, CA, Jackie Golden (Torrence) of Oceanside, CA and Nick Kurt (Jane) of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by other relatives and many special friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Loess Hills Funeral and Cremation Center - Glenwood (112 N Vine St, Glenwood, IA 51534). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
