It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Anne Whitcomb (Glenwood, Iowa), born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, who passed away on February 20, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George and Lillie; her brother George Cunningham; and her brothers-in-law, Mario Mandina and Buck O'Grady.
She is survived by: her husband Edward Whitcomb of Glenwood; her children, Ed Whitcomb (Michele) of Papillion, Jim Whitcomb (Marianne) of Bellevue, Joan Sandford (Bob) of Kansas City, MO, Tom Whitcomb (Lisa) of Omaha, NE and Rose Eaton (Eric) of King City, MO; her sisters, Isabelle O'Grady of Council Bluffs, IA and Mary Georgita Cunningham of Portland, OR; and her sister-in-law Amy Cunningham of Council Bluffs. She is also survived by 31 nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church or Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
