She was predeceased by: her parents, Verb Syhlman and Edna Syhlman (Bolhuis); her husband George Adelmund; her siblings, Fred Syhlman, Tena Benning, Dorothy Adelmund and Vernice Valentine; and her son-in-law Kevin Case.
She is survived by: her children, Barb DeWitt (Mike) of Gladbrook, Dallas Adelmund (Lynn) of Ankeny and Donna Case of Marshalltown; her sister Lourine Pruis of Grundy Center; her grandchildren, Dan DeWitt (Samantha) of Gladbrook, Carrie Mattson (Chris) of Cedar Falls, Kelli Smith of Waterloo, Lindsey Caputo (Brian) of Conrad, Darcy Adelmund of Lenexa, KS and Riley Adelmund of Ankeny; and her great grandchildren, Beau, Codi, Cade DeWitt, Charlie, Jack Mattson, Cole, Avery Smith and Morgan Caputo. She is also survived by grandma to her six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and granddogs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Gladbrook United Methodist Church or Gladbrook Fire Department.
