He is survived by: his wife Linda Sass Pierce; his children, Connie McFadden (David) of Spring Hill, FL, Tom Schneider (Melinda) of Council Bluffs, IA, Julie Purvis (Trey) of Knoxville, IA, Chad Pierce (Tammi) of Gladbrook and Tim Pierce of Gladbrook; and his siblings, Sandy Negus (Bill) of Waterloo, IA, Mary Beth Dixon (David) of Mountain Air, NM and Jim Schneider (Mary) of Reinbeck. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
