She was predeceased by: her parents, Sylvan Ames and Katherine Ames (Cobb); her husband Harold G Frantz; her former husband Kenneth M. Stoehr of Wellsburg; and her nephew Gary Stoehr.
She is survived by: her sons, Jeffrey, Jeffery Ames Stoehr of Marshalltown, Stacy Stotten Stoehr (Thomas Wheatley) of Lincoln and Kelcey Sylvan William Stoehr (Kent Volkens) of Des Moines; her grandchildren, Kaily, Shelly and Clay Stoehr; her great grandchildren, Johnny, Lola and Margaret; her cousin Colleen Miller (Jim); and her niece Stephaney Newsome (Stoehr).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Salem Church of Lincoln or the Tama County Humane Society.
