She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Ehlers and Lillian Ehlers (Nissen); her sister Beverly Becker of Gilbertville, IA; her husband John; and her grandsons, Jon Marchant and Eric Pierce.
She is survived by: her son John Jr.; her grandchildren, Andy Sass (Angie), Kristin Macri (Mike), Connie McFadden (David), Tom Schneider (Melinda), Julie Purvis (Trey), Chad Pierce (Tammi) and Tim Pierce; her great grandchildren, John M., Elsie Jo Sass, Cael, Mason, Cameron Macri, Stephanie, Sean Saunders, Justin, Olivia Schneider, Alex, Taylor, Max Purvis, Zach, Tyler Pierce and Ari Pierce; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Ehlers of Cedar Falls, IA..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Peace United Church of Christ or Cedar Valley Hospice.
