He was predeceased by: his parents, Nick Wendel and Margaret Wendel (Delfs). He is survived by: his wife Judy Schade; his children, Lisa Markley (Randy) of Ames, IA and Myron Wendel (Danielle) of Las Vegas, NV; his grandchildren, Jessi Lozinski (Ed), Shane Markley, Jina McBroom, Carl Markley (Sara), Mattie Wendel and Nick Wendel; and his great grandchildren, Zane, Grace, Andrew, Mariska, Michal and Maja.
