She is survived by: her son Brett McLain (Joy) of Ames; her great grandchildren, Zoe, Cayde, Carter, Camden Boydstun, Layne Williams, Sara Rodrigues and Layla Johnson; her daughter-in-law Irene Sells; her sisters-in-law, Gail Davis, Karen Smith, Kay Purvis (Paul) and Dolores Whetstine; and her nephews, Kevin and Mark Whetstine. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
