With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lavina Diercks of Gladbrook, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 28, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Lavina leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Strickler and Wilma Strickler (Green); and her son Douglas Diercks. She is survived by: her daughter Debra Lowery (Brad) of Red Oak; her grandson Steven Hartley; and her brothers, Jim Strickler, John Strickler and Bill Strickler.
