Horton Staeffler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 3, 2020, at the age of 93, Horton Staeffler (Gladbrook, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Staeffler and Erene Staeffler; his wife Milda Nath (Millie); and his stepdaughter Laurel Werner. He is survived by: his stepdaughter Sharon Burke (Tom); his daughters, Cynthia Blaine and Barbara Basabilbaso (Bill); his grandchildren, Garth Werner (Allie), Randy Lovin (Sheila), Kristin Werner, Joseph Werner (Maggie), Susan Goldstein (Zach), Duane Blaine (Haley), Laurel VanDerVeer (Alaan), Christopher Basabilbaso (Jennie) and Nicholas Basabilbaso (Kristina); and his great grandchildren, Noah Werner, Brityn Blaine, Hayes Blaine, Parker VanDerVeer, Oliver VanDerVeer, Oaklynn VanDerVeer, Alannah Basabilbaso and Tyler Basabilbaso. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
