He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Ross; his wife Karen Slifer (Poland); his children, Steven Lage (Christine) of Souderton, PA, Ross Lage (Wendy) of Wellsburg, IA, Lynda Johnson (Vernon) of Wellsburg, IA, Rodney Slifer of Grundy Center, IA, Kathy Mainer of Redwood Falls, MN and Joyce Slifer of Lincoln, IA; his grandchildren, Megan McCarthy (Tim), Alyssa Houck (David), Brian Lage (Mikael), Brett Lage (Jessica), Codie Duhn (Tyler), Hollie Babcock (Chase), Alyce Johnson, Grant Johnson, Kyle Slifer (Nisa Dolic), Travis Slifer (Jessica Poore), Kaylin Sandy (Matt), Thomas Mainer and Chelsea Taylor Dalaney Slifer (AJ Stanley); his brother Russel Lage (Donna) of Holland, IA; and his sister-in-law Helen Lage. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
